After the huge impact of the Trackman 'Don't Stop 'release which continues to be hammered all over the world, Flux gets right back to work with another killer package, this time from label boss Chris Finke, with remixes and the remaster treatment of his 2009 'Shut That Door tracks. Shut That Door was a 2 part track that appeared on Chris's 'The Riot House EP. It was seen as Chris's breakthrough EP, with both DJs and reviewers alike praising both versions of his 'Shut That Door' track for its fresh take on modern techno, drawing from the Berlin and UK scenes to great effect. Championed by such a wide range of Djs including Luke Slater, Len Faki, Luciano, DJ Hell, Paul Woolford, and many more, we now have some updated remixes for you with very different takes on the track. First up, Kyle Gieger is one of the wave of fresh newcomers to the worldof techno to have quitckly established himself as a major player. His releases on Drumcode, Perc Trax and Harthouse have become mainstays of DJs the world over, and this moody, tripped out remix shows Geiger at his best! Ortin Cam & Charles Bells have been on fire form of late, with tracks and Eps for Dave Clarke's Whitenoise label, Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver, and Cam's own Roots. For their debut on Flux, they have conjured up a heavy, big room remix of 'Shut that door', which has been killing it off promo for a while now. Just wait for the drop!! Onto the digital only remixes, and Raphael Acohen has blasted onto the scene recently with a fresh take on big room techno. His remix of this track takes it into dark industrial waters, while keeping true to the feel of the original. Watch out for Raphael's next releases on the brand new Flux Digital label! Willhelm (AKA Romart) is another newcomer who has turned heads in a very short space of time, and his brooding, slow building remix is going to find him even more fans.
