Lotte kaersa is a danish music teacher, composer and what some might call an early educational philosopher, born 1929 and died 2022. Raised by parents with a strong desire for her to become a classical composer, but to their disappointment Lotte chose to focus her work on teaching and working with preschool kids in kinder gardens and the young kids in primary school. While her parents were disappointed, the kids were the exact opposite because Lotte's understanding of her work was based on the idea of children being creative independent individuals with a strong need to express themselves. A philosophy of children as human beings that should not only be educated, but also part of a learning process based on their own experience, interests and ideas. Lotte thought that play and working with music should be a key element in the learning process. Together with a lot of the kids Lotte kaersa created the band 'Graesrodderne' (Grassroots). They released six albums of which many have been a collector's item for years. The original track for the remix is titled 'Prov og gor lisom jeg' (try to do it like me) is now a cult classic among eclectic dj's around the world. Bjorn Svin - a multitalented electronic musician from Denmark always with a playful method when he is producing his music, has done the remix where his approach with the machines is making a playful dance throughout the track alongside the child chorus and a Danish cheerfulness in the songs' lyrics. Turn it over for extra 'aej aej aej' and in fact, the instrumental is a straigt up techno track.
