Claque Musique ready to unleash their latest offering, from an artist who has become a key member of the Claque family, Rio Padice. Having in recent years devoted time to learning the production techniques of the 90's, blending the use of software, hardware and sampling, his productions, unlike so much of the current trend for 'looking back', have a mature and studied classic sound and feel to them. His work this year has seen firmly rooted in the front of the most discerning of record boxes. Rio follows his remix of MICRO_ON (CLAQUEMUSIQUE10) with his very own 'Woodland' EP. As we have accustomed to, Rio delights us with another selection of tracks that see him exploring and bringing together the best in classic sounds with his very own fresh contemporary spin. The beautiful trip through 'Woodland' opens the EP. A dreamy bass-heavy acidic number. Much different is 'Ocrons Land', with its static sounds and almost industrial feel. 'Mutant Camels' with its bubbling bass, rasping hats and dromedary movement rounds out the originals. Remixing the title track is Padova born ALEX PICONE. Renowed for his releases on BASS CULTURE, MUS and CADENZA and fresh from the success of his 'Fahrenheit' single, Alex ramps things up for the dancefloor on 'Woodland', replacing the original acid line with some fresh guitar licks. PERFECT!
