Philippe Laurent, a renowned French Electro/Synth wave pioneer & modern classical music composer who released a numerous amount of tapes during the 80's and a LP vinyl album on the label Minimal Wave Records in 2011. This release joint consist in two tracks by Philippe Laurent from 1982 unreleased on vinyl yet and exclusively restored from the original tapes by Minimal Wave Records Studios in New York in 2014 and a cover by Xeno & Oaklander a Cold wave and Synth Pop band from the same city. A.1/ Exposition 3, an intergalactic anthem composition with late 70's synthesizers and effects transporting the auditor in an epic voyage. B.1/ Rapide 1 is a multidimensional weird boogie track standing for its singularity. Definitely an UFO for this era and synth lovers of all times. B.2/ For the modern version of Exposition 3, the Cold Wave/Synth Pop duet Xeno & Oaklander reworked/recomposed completely Exposition 3 with their rather creative analog studio more than 30 years after the original was made. The result is an intriguing electronic journey driven by a night driving 808 beat in a place where you can perceive John Carpenter's shadow hovering.
