Drawing on Sub Swaras hivibration/ lo-frequency aesthetic, Koli Stance, taken from their CD Coup d'Yah (LMCD002) has been rinsed by DJs around the world, from Mary Anne Hobbes and Bobby Friction & Nihal (BBC Radio 1) to Kid Kameleon (XLR8R magazine) and everyone in between. Blackdown, in his monthly column for Pitchfork.com, raves that it's a master class in swirling subcontinental tablas and warping dubstep bass. On the flip, Skank Ethics has become an NYC dancefloor staple, appearing on the Dub War 001 podcast alongside such dubstep dons as Rusko and Peverelist.
