New Kanada's Adam Marshall delivers a stunning peak-hour track with obvious inspiration from old school Detroit techno and classik Chicago house. "Kokane" begins as a tightly wound minimal house groove with precise, pounding percussion and heavily swung Jack. After the 3:30 mark the track gives way glistening synth chords which shine through the darkness transporting the cut into Carl Craig-ish jazz territory. On the flip, Montreal's Ernesto Ferreyra [Mutek, Cynosure] brings a South American flavour to the remix and takes the dancefloor oddessy deep into the Chilean canyons.
