What comes to your mind, thinking back to the year 1995? In the summer of 95, Christo wrapped Berlin's Reichstag in 10000 squaremeters of drapery, while 2000 riotous punks reminded us during the Hannover chaos-days that punks not dead yet. Michal Schumacher just won his second formula 1 world championship for Benetton while George Foreman lambasted Axel Schulz in Las Vegas and O.J. Simpson was discharged for murdering his exwife and her new boyfriend. Oh yeah, in these days there also was the launch of Windws 95 with its system requirements of 4 MB-RAM and 50 MB free space on your hard disc. Sounds like these times are gone for ages... On the other side: It was exactly the same year when Playhouse released 14 x 7 x 4 ALTES TESTAMENT, the first 12inch of ROMAN FLUGEL's favorite house alter ego ROMAN IV. The most hypnotic deephouse around, today as timeless and fabulous as in those days. 13 years later, you still find these tracks in current DJ-charts of artist like Lawrence or Sebo K and even Keith McIvor, of the passionate allknowing Optimo comes up with a pretty simple statement, when asked about ALTES TESTAMENT: This is one of my all time fave tracks. Good to know that these classic tracks are going to be re-released now. On top, you get CAIRO, a previously unreleased ROMAN IV track of that period. Go for it!
