From the depts of Basque county Kastil (Mario Castillo) is back with bomb EP. After a few releases in the more disco sounding side of music, he is now entering his comfort zone in a sample heavy deep house release which is (although it's house music) an ode to Jazz Music. On the A side we find the title track 'That Jazz', a beautiful atmospheric track with a touching chord switch that is floating through the track. Along with the quotes about jazz music and the touching break this is deep house music at it's finest. On the flip we find 'Coming' an energetic and raw house track with perfectly placed vocal chops . This is one of those tracks that will take you back to those pure vibes from the early 90s. The B2 is a also a track with a more 'early' vibe. This time with a slower pace, again vocal chops and high strings create the vibe. The vocal kicking in later in the track makes you want to pull out the classics from your Spike Lee collection and watch them all in one go. Beautiful yet nostalgic this is a record to cherish.
